Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated SEO Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in account management within an agency setting and a proven track record of hands-on SEO expertise. As an SEO Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving our clients’ online visibility and optimizing their digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all SEO-related matters.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to each client’s specific goals and objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth SEO audits, keyword research, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead on-page and off-page optimization efforts, including content optimization, link building, and technical SEO enhancements.
  • Utilize industry-standard SEO tools such as ScreamingFrog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, Whitespark, Google Sheets, and BigQuery to gather insights and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO recommendations, ensuring alignment with overall digital marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize project management tools such as Zoom, Slack, Notion, and ClickUp to coordinate tasks, track progress, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to continuously improve our strategies.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to clients, showcasing the impact of SEO efforts and identifying areas for further optimization.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development within the SEO team.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of account management experience in an agency environment, demonstrating a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on SEO experience, either in-house or agency-side, with a proven track record of successful SEO campaigns and improved search rankings.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard SEO tools such as ScreamingFrog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, Whitespark, Google Sheets, and BigQuery.
  • Experience working in a remote environment, showcasing strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
  • Excellent English reading, writing, and speaking comprehension, enabling effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Keen attention to detail and a meticulous approach to optimizing website content and technical elements.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced working environments, adapting to changing priorities and delivering results within tight deadlines.
