Responsibilities
Craft and execute advanced on-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase click-through rates (CTR), and enhance user experience.
Perform comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and integrate them strategically into on-page elements.
Lead the optimization of meta tags, including meta titles, meta descriptions, and header tags, aligning them with user intent and industry best practices.
Collaborate closely with content creators to ensure that on-page content is optimized for target keywords, readability, and semantic relevance.
Analyze and optimize internal linking structures to distribute link equity effectively and enhance user navigation.
Implement schema markup and structured data to enhance search engine understanding of our content, resulting in enriched search results.
Lead efforts to optimize website load speed and mobile responsiveness for optimal user experience and improved search rankings.
Perform regular on-page audits to identify and rectify technical issues that might hinder search engine crawlers or user experience.
Stay updated with the latest on-page SEO trends and algorithm changes, adapting strategies to align with evolving search engine requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience as an On-Page SEO Specialist, demonstrating a track record of achieving tangible results.
Proficiency in utilizing on-page SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Moz, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to perform comprehensive analysis.
In-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture as they pertain to on-page SEO optimization.
Proven ability to conduct keyword research and develop data-driven on-page optimization strategies.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and the ability to implement on-page changes independently.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to enhance on-page performance.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate on-page SEO strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points
Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications.
Experience with A/B testing and user experience optimization to drive on-page conversion rates.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) to implement advanced on-page SEO enhancements.
Prior experience with international or multilingual on-page SEO strategies.
Contributions to on-page SEO publications, blogs, or industry forums.
